Enjoying Time at College

When you are at college you may see a lot of people around wearing Greek sweatshirts and may wonder whether you want to get one. It is something that could be well worth getting. Even if it is not something that you would normally wear or perhaps something that you would never wear, it could still be worth getting one as a memento of your time there. Many students regret not buying such a thing as they do not have the opportunity to get one once they leave. Also the sooner you buy one the better as prices are low at the moment and they are more than likely to go up in the future. You may also find that by the time you leave college you have a lot of debts which mean that you will not be able to justify the expense of it but at the beginning it will not be the same. Of course you may not feel the same sentimental attachment to your fraternity whether it be Kappa Alpha Theta or Kappa Kappa Gamma or whatever. You may even be still having difficulty trying to decide which of the groups to even join.

This can be a big decision because they will be like your family while you are away from home. You may feel loyalty towards particular ones, perhaps because you Mother or Father was a member or even generations even further back in your family or you have friends in them already. It can be tricky if you have reasons to join several and you have to choose between them. However, it is important to make a well informed decision and find out about the morals of the group and what sorts of things they do. It should be easy enough to find out as most f them run events where you can go along and talk to the members and find out more about it. You will probably find, that whichever you decide to join, that it will help you to make some really firm friends. The events that are run should give you some fantastic memories and you may even find that your friendships continue outside of college and for the rest of your life. So make sure that you do join up and perhaps choose it by thinking about how friendly the members are so that you can be sure that you will make good friendships.
